Cookie Policy
Last updated: 21 July 2026
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. This page explains, without heavy technical language, what cookies this site uses, why, and how you can change your mind about them at any time.
Because this concerns your device rather than only your personal data, our use of cookies is also governed by the Polish Telecommunications Law (Prawo telekomunikacyjne), specifically Article 173, which requires consent before storing non-essential cookies on your device, alongside the transparency obligations under GDPR (RODO).
The consent panel
When you first visit this site, a panel opens from the right-hand side of the screen listing cookie categories with individual switches. Necessary cookies are always on because the site cannot function properly without them. Every other category starts switched off until you choose to enable it. You can accept everything, reject everything beyond what is strictly necessary, or pick categories individually and save that choice.
Necessary cookies
These support core site behaviour, such as remembering that you already made a cookie choice so the panel does not reopen on every page. Without them, basic functions like this would not work reliably. They do not require consent under Article 173 because they are strictly necessary for the service you have requested.
Functional cookies
These remember small preferences, such as menu states or form inputs you were partway through, to make repeat visits smoother. They are optional and only active if you switch them on.
Analytics cookies
If enabled, these would help us understand, in aggregate, how visitors move through the site, which pages get read, and where people tend to leave. This helps identify parts of the site that could be clearer. No such data is linked back to your name or contact details.
Marketing cookies
If enabled, these could support measurement of how visitors arrived at this site, for instance through a search engine or a link elsewhere. They are switched off by default and only apply if actively enabled.
Managing or withdrawing consent
You can reopen the preferences panel at any time using the small shield icon fixed to the edge of the screen, or the "Cookie Preferences" link found in the footer of every page. Changing your selection there updates the stored preference immediately. You can also clear cookies through your browser's own settings, which will reset the site to show the preference panel again on your next visit.
Browser-level controls
Most browsers let you view, delete or block cookies through their settings menu, usually under a section labelled privacy or security. Blocking all cookies at the browser level, including necessary ones, may affect how parts of this site behave.
